Invitation for Prequalification of Shamba Valuers
Trans National Times Dt Sacco Ltd is seeking to prequalify experienced and reputable shamba (land/farm) valuers. This prequalification process aims to create a pool of qualified valuers who can provide accurate and reliable shamba valuation services for loan security and other SACCO purposes.
Scope of Work:
- Comprehensive valuation of shambas (land/farms) to be used as loan security.
- Detailed inspection and assessment of the land’s condition, size, location, and potential use.
- Preparation of detailed valuation reports in accordance with industry standards.
- Providing expert advice on the market value and condition of the land.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a registered and licensed land valuer.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land/shamba valuation.
- Proven track record of accurate and reliable land valuations.
- Strong knowledge of the current real estate market trends.
- Ability to provide timely and detailed reports.
- Excellent references from previous clients.
Application Requirements: Interested valuers are requested to submit the following documents for consideration:
- Company Profile including the history, services offered, and organizational structure.
- Valid registration and licensing documents.
- Proof of professional indemnity insurance.
- Detailed CVs of key personnel.
- A list of similar projects undertaken in the past 5 years.
- References from at least three previous clients.
- Fee structure for valuation services.

Evaluation and Notification: All submissions will be evaluated based on the eligibility criteria listed above. Successful applicants will be notified and included in our list of prequalified valuers for a period of two years (2yrs).
