SACCO PORTAL REQUIREMENTS
- A web portal will merge data/functionalities of different systems into one in particular combine functionality from our core banking system, mobile platform, IPRS and CRB into one web portal.
- Users/Members will be able to use all these systems seamlessly
- The portal to allow marketers will be presented to send customers customized messages, contact polls etc. generally tightening the contact between customers and the Sacco
- Potential members’ access registration forms online and receives guide throughout the entire process, making it easy to fill out registration form with all the required information.
- Once the registration is done, the member receives notification for further details about physical presentation to finalize the registration process.
- Loan application module with the following features:
- Loan Calculator, to enable the member to calculate how much loan s/he can get with the amounts in his/her account and conditions of the Sacco.
- Loan Application, to enable members to apply loans online. Depending on the procedural process, the same process is followed online till the loan is issued
- To allow members to request for Guarantors online
- To allow guarantors acknowledgement/refuse the application online
- At the very end, to have a signed copy, the borrower prints an offer letter, which can be later scanned or filed for future reference.
- Member statement
- Upon login, the member can only view his/her current statement, this is from the live system, hence any update done i.e., Cash Deposit, will be updated immediately. This will also include FOSA statement details.

Loan Repayment
- Members to be able to initiate loan repayment using STK push
System security
The system can have a two‐factor login system i.e., username can be anything (ID, Sacco No.) and a one time password (OTP) that can sent to Mobile Phone of the member. This makes sure that the member has his details and also his mobile.
